Squid Mobile is a powerful and comprehensive requester and viewer of Grib Files (weather files), available for a wide range of sailors. Whether you're a casual cruiser, a passionate racer, an off-shore solo navigator, or a coastal dinghy sailor, Squid has all the forecast data you need for any region around the globe. This mobile app has been developed by GreatCircle and has gained the trust of demanding navigators since 2010. It is widely used on board almost every sailing boat and has even been instrumental in achieving world speed sailing records.

In 2015, Squid had the honor of being the exclusive supplier of weather data for the prestigious Volvo Ocean Race. It also served as the Official Partner, providing weather data for 300 boats during the Rolex Fastnet Race. Additionally, Squid participated in record-breaking events such as the Transpac and Atlantic and North-East Passage, while consistently delivering daily high-resolution forecasts and observations to thousands of passionate sailors.
